It’s A Passion, An Emotion… is BurBoylesque!
By Nonita on January 24, 2011
Mimi Imfurst in Boylesque (photo by Amber Dubois) Have you heard about Boylesque? Nope, I am not referring to the art of Boylesque but to the Laurie Beechman Theatre’s parody of the Cher/Christina Aguilera film. Not only was the play based on the movie but apparently, it opened way before its original source!

History Meets Burlesque | Meet Elizabeth Bathory – The Blood Countess
By Nonita on January 18, 2011
“Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely. She had absolute power.” One of the characters from history that I find seriously scary is Elizabeth Bathory – also known as – ‘The Blood Countess’ or ‘Countess Dracula’. We all know – and love – Betty Boop ‘Boop-Oop-A-Doop’ don’t we? and who wouldn’t really, she is one of the most adorable, stylish, fashionable, glamorous, sexy and timeless of all divas and sex symbols of the silver -and even of the colour- screen.
