Yes, m’dears, the rumours are true!
The Wam Bam Club will be holding open auditions for all that’s up and coming in cabaret, from 10am on Monday April 12th @ Cafe de Paris, Coventry Street, W1.
I’m looking for dancers (male and female plus dance troupes), comedy acts, burlesque troupes or solo performers, acrobats and circus performers, magicians and musical acts. If you’ve got anything that fits under that broad banner of cabaret, step right up and give it go!
To audition, just email rachael@wambamclub.com with your name and contact details plus a description of what you do. Places are limited and there’s only one date, so contact us ASAP to reserve a place.

I recently saw you on the Cherry Healey documentary and thought your show and dancing looked fantastic. I am currently a student studying at Leeds university and I’ve got a burning passion for Burlesque. I think it’s fantastic!
I’ve never performed or learned any of the skills or moves apart from a brief encounter with the Burlesque routine on the Pussycat Dolls workout DVD.
After seeing you were holding auditions I was wondering if there are any Burlesque courses or lessons that you would particularly recommend?
Thank you
Jennifer
Hello Jennifer
Great to hear from you and thank you for your kind words about the Cherry Healey Show.
We recommend taking a course with Burlesque Baby, the UK’s first school of burlesque.
They know everything there is to know about the art of tease!
